I just hope she's not a bad decision maker like she was in Torment or super over-the-top like she was in See No Evil 2 though. I've loved her in *almost* everything else she's been in though. |

It isn't great, but it's weird and frantic enough to be really entertaining. The story isn't anything that hasn't been done before, but it is put together really well. I liked the surreal touches a lot, which I think were a nice touch for a movie with this structure. Katherine Isabelle is definitely the best part. She's pretty much playing two different characters. She spends part of the movie in over-the-top mode, but I think it works a lot better here than in See No Evil, since it's only in small doses. The rest of the cast was really great. Chirstopher Lloyd was perfect for his role, but I also really loved Tim Doiron's character. |

Ooh Lynne Griffin (Claire in Black Christmas, Patty in Curtains) is in this too! How big is her role? |

It's small. She has some lines, but she's only in like two scenes. |

Saw this the other night with Robby and we both liked it so much that it totally overshadowed everything else we watched that night (even Survivor!!!). Katharine's character was a breath of fresh air and annoyed me less than she did in Torment and See No Evil 2. In fact, she was not annoying AT ALL! I loved her badass self here and while some of her decisions were odd or downright stupid Spoiler: click to toggle I was with her the whole time and wanted a solid, 'happy ending' for her since the girl went through a ton of crazy shit.In some ways, this is like a blend of Kill Bill and Memento and since I love both (three if you see KB as two films like I do) films, I really appreciated this. The performances were good all around. No one was really cheesy or unbelievable though some people (especially Ty) were a bit too enthusiastic and hyper about what was happening. Still, Ty was super adorable and he and Gwen made a GREAT team. I wanted more of those two together<3. I assume he was coked up the whole time; that's the only reasonable explanation for his odd behavior. It was really cool seeing Christopher Lloyd as the primary villain here. This had a surprisingly high bodycount and the deaths were mostly good-to-great even though they were almost all just gunshots. This had just enough quirkiness to maintain a fun feel to it all. Special shoutout to the "Lemmy Scene." I totally need a "Business/Leisure" or whatever clickable remote controlled sign for my own life. That part was fucking awesome. Some parts of this, like reviewers elsewhere have said, were pretty Tarantino-esque but this NEVER felt like it was trying to be a Tarantino film. It was its own thing from start to finish even though it wore its inspirations on its sleeve. It didn't rip anything off and it didn't feel like a direct copy of anything. For the most part, this was really fun and enjoyable even though I saw the ending 'twist' coming from a mile away. That still benefitted the story though so no real complaints there. *shrug* Definitely check this out if you're a Katharine fan<3. She's great here! 6.5/10 quality, 7.5-8/10 entertainment. |

The grocery store/gas station scene is awesome. I so want to re-enact that now with hidden cameras! "I don't think you're supposed to do that here..."
