Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Teenage friends out for beach week get unexpectedly detoured to a creepy motel where a deadly STD virus now runs rampant, turning those infected into the living dead.

I might let one of you watch this one first. I like the attempt of a poster in this style, but there is some wonky anatomy on the woman in the middle.

Zombies. Sold.
Do illiterate people get the full effect of alphabet soup?

Some people are like slinkies: not good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when one falls down the stairs.

This is already reminding me of a Chillerama segment or something. Like Vanessa said, I'll let one of you other guys watch it first. (lol)

I'd be willing to go first if I can get a copy of it. It's my kind of movie anyway before you add in zombies which made it an immediate check-out.

This one isn't even completely finished yet. As of last month, they were making some changes after their first screening.

You know what came to mind while watching this . . . whatever you call it? An exercise, maybe? Zombie Ass (American Version). Yep. Was not for me.

If only I fell asleep to that shite, I'd be better rested right now.

The only actor I liked was the gas station clerk. She was funny.

I'm sure some will disagree with me and say, "It's supposed to be over-the-top. Remember Dead Alive? Evil Dead 2? It's supposed to be obnoxiously silly." Yeahhhhh. Those were good films though and weren't obnoxious. If I never see this exercise in optical torture again, fine by me. Praise the cinematic gods.

This looks like it would check almost all of my boxes, but I can't help but feel like it might have an aura of self-importance about it. I will remain cautiously optimistic.

Release bump

It showed up on VOD while the boards were down.
