Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

hmmm in no particular order

Creature from the Black Lagoon
House of Wax (1953)
Amityville 3
Final Destination 5
Friday 3 ( although have only seen it in anaglyph would love it in real)
My Bloody Valentine

I have never really appreciated Amityville 3 until I got the 3D blu ray. One prime example of a film that actually is lessened in 2D

I've always held a nostalgic place in my heart for My Bloody Valentine 3D, as it was the first 3D movie I ever saw, and to my memory it used it the way it was meant to be used (i.e. shooting everything but the kitchen sink out at the screen).

None of them. The 3D versions of every movie I've seen has been utter crap. This practice needs to die out and forever be removed from filming conventions for the rest of time.
Do illiterate people get the full effect of alphabet soup?

Some people are like slinkies: not good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when one falls down the stairs.

I really enjoy Coraline in 3D. Kids movie I know but its pretty dark and kids love horror but dont seem to have many kid friendly or orientated movies like there was in the 80s.

I can't see the 3D effects, but I think My Bloody Valentine 3D is my favorite generally.

I shouldn't include movies that I haven't actually seen in their 3D form, but what the hell.

I'll indicate those I haven't seen in their 3D form with an asterisk (*)

Creature from the Black Lagoon*
House of Wax ('53)*
Piranha 3D

Maybe Coraline*(?) if we're considering that horror (for the life of me I cannot remember if I saw Coraline in 3D or not)

I have to rewatch the My Bloody Valentine remake, but I remember liking it quite a bit.
