Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

In February, “beautiful and haunted Joan makes a bloody and determined pilgrimage across a frozen landscape toward a prestigious all girls prep school where Rose and Kat find themselves stranded after their parents mysteriously fail to retrieve them for winter break. As Joan gets closer, terrifying visions begin plaguing Kat while Rose watches in horror as she becomes possessed by an unseen evil force.”

I'm tired of Emma Roberts, but I'm interested in seeing Kiernan Shipka in a horror film, even though I still haven't caught up on Mad Men.

I will most likely not watch this since Emma is in it, but I do really like that poster.

The fuck is with Emma Roberts starring in things where the group is pretty much entirely female?

I'm still not sure entirely what this one is about. I'll definitely need more info on this to make a judgement over how high a priority to make it.
Do illiterate people get the full effect of alphabet soup?

Some people are like slinkies: not good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when one falls down the stairs.

Oh shit, how did we forget to move this? I just saw this on a "Top Ten Best" list on BloodyDisgusting and was confused for a second because I thought it still hadn't been released.

It hasn't? They probably saw it at Fantastic Fest or TIFF.

Ah, maybe. (wary) Sucks though since I wanted to watch this now before I forget about it again, lol.

This is getting good reviews, apparently? I like the plot. I look forward to finding out more about it in the very near future. :D

I'm glad because whenever I'd look up information about this, I'd have to sift through a bunch of things relating to the month of February. (un)

Amazon has a deal with the distributor, so this should be on Amazon Prime not too long after it is released to dvd.

As much as I LOVED the title February, I do admit that I like the current title, even if it sounds like a Dolly Parton album more so than a horror film.

I think the new title is less likely to be confusing.

It's not perky enough for Dolly. I'd go with Porter or Loretta, instead.

Apparently it leaked but will be officially released July 14th through DirecTV cinema. I hear great great things

It is set to be released in a couple of days but A24 is not promoting it at all. I have DirecTV and so expect to see the "exclusively on direct tv" promos during the weekend but they haven't even released a U.S poster with the new title or tweeted about it!

If anyone is wondering why this wasn't moved, it's because people are saying that it didn't end up being released on DirecTV on the 14th.

Yeah it wasn't released on directv (something called Into the Forest was the exclusive film) and A24 doesn't seem to be talking about this film at all.
