Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

^ Your list is VERY similar to the first ones that come to mind when I think of ones I really like<3. I still need to see Congo (is that even Horror? Oh well - I'll still see it) and The Ghost And The Darkness though.

I'll post my list when I'm not drunk.

I don't know if Congo is really horror, but it's a killer animal movie, so... It fits the bill.

The Ghost in the Darkness is not horror either, as it's just a drama about killer lions. Still a great film, though.

Since you've forced me to keep this to actual animals here rather than creature features, this narrows my choices immensely:

Jaws
Lake Placid
Bats
The Breed

Hmm, I'm really going to have to think more about this one.
Do illiterate people get the full effect of alphabet soup?

Some people are like slinkies: not good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when one falls down the stairs.

I forgot about Bats. Who could forget a timeless classic like that? Quite possibly the best performance Lou Diamond Phillips ever gave. So gritty. So raw. So real.

Sticking with more natural fare, as opposed to sci-fi or creature features, as GL said...

Anaconda
Arachnophobia
The Birds
Jaws
They're Creeping Up On You segement from Creepshow
Cat from Hell segment from Tales from the Darkside: The Movie
Lake Placid
Monkey Shines
Willard (remake)

Maybe Piranha and Piranha 3D

I would say The Grey, but that's not exactly horror.

Back then I would have also included Deep Blue Sea, but I don't think it's that great of a movie as I used to feel. Not bad, just not a favorite of mine any more.
