Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

The outback once more becomes a place of horror as another unwitting tourist becomes the prey for crazed, serial-killing pig-shooter Mick Taylor.

Haven't heard much on this since the start of filming. Will keep an eye out. The first was great.

Yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to it. I wonder if we'll be getting it this year or if we'll have to wait until next year. Either way, I have a feeling it'll be worth the wait. Thank God they didn't recast Mick Taylor. No way would this be as effective as the first if they got someone other than John Jarratt in that role.

Yeah some things are worth waiting for. I have a feeling if this would have been release back in 07 or 08 it would have been not as effective. I'd rather wait some years for a GOOD sequel than one or two for a booty one. Blah.

The longer the wait, the more my anticipation rears its head, and I like to live by Otis's words "I set my standards pretty low, so I'm never disappointed"

that being "said" I was right in my low expectations of Silent Hill (2? whatever it was called... Revelation?) I did enjoy the first movie more than anyone should but I kept low expectations for the sequel, whilst my sister had high expectations especially according to her "well they took so long doing a sequel it must be good." Wrong.

That is so true. Just because they wait a long time to do a sequel doesn't mean it'll be good. It's all about the team having the heart and drive to make a good film no matter if its a year later or 15.

Totally. It's the passion. Just look at the Veronica Mars Kickstarter campaign, clear passion for the project that went off the air back in 2007 and very clear passion from all the fans across the world.

They will have high expectations from everyone that chipped in. Hope it goes great for Rob Thomas and the gang.

Not so random side note. Look at the time between Batman Returns and Catwoman. The stand alone movie had been in the works alllll those years and is one of the most physically painful films I have seen.

So erm... good luck to the guys making Wolf Creek 2. *Thumbs up*

Ha, I love you for using that Otis Driftwood quote! (thumbsup)

I get what you guys are saying though. This could be a breath of fresh air OR it could be an awful 'revisit' film.

Awww thanks, sending love back.

Either which way Wolf Creek 2 goes down, I'm pretty sure we'll see it to see for ourselves, whichever side of the proverbial fence we are currently on.

Totally agree. Hopefully this tops, or at least is even with the first film. I have a feeling that it will though, this is Wolf Creek we are talking about.

This is the first I'm hearing about this, but I'm pretty excited. I really enjoyed the first film. Survivalist horror is a great sub-genre and "Wolf Creek" lived up to its predecessors quite well.

I think we'll get a trailer soon. Or at least a few photos of some kind.

yeah what slaught said. I mentioned it somewhere, I'm sure of it. He worked on pre production but then got offered something else that had a timetable clash and unfortunately and with many regrets had to drop out.
