Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

The outback once more becomes a place of horror as another unwitting tourist becomes the prey for crazed, serial-killing pig-shooter Mick Taylor.

Random but lol, I wish the random lady with the goats in her car had come back somehow. She sooo should've been Lil. It would've been 'ironic' if she had picked up the German couple, drove them to their destination, then ended up meeting the guy who rescued the German girl. :P I knew there was an older couple in a house in this and when watching this I thought the goat lady was going to be the woman in that house, but nope.

They also should've worked the random family from the crater into this too. It would've made this even more fucked up if Mick had

I see why they didn't do that though since it COULD HAVE taken away from the fun-but-fucked nature of this movie.

Lol he SO should have done that. The first film was disturbing but if they did that here it would be disturbing AND darkly funny.

LOL yes. Just like the kangaroos, the cops, and the old couple. Damn, those scenes were horrifying and insane but so nuts that I couldn't help but feel like laughing. It was all really disturbing and harsh but so 'wtf' (like the penis-in-the-eye scene in A Serbian Film). Make sense? :P

Makes very much sense. Actually, this had the same really sick kind of dark humor ASF had so it can compare.

Well A Serbian Film was a bit darker in tone than this was, but when it comes to the VIOLENCE they were very similar lol. I can totally see people who have only seen like 10 horror films in their whole lives freaking out and barfing over the violence here, but people like us who have seen hundreds of Horrors getting a kick out of the violence while being equally disturbed and amused :P

One thing I don't get is that if Paul knew the correct answer to the cricket player question all along, why not just answer it and spare himself the agony of getting a second finger cut off by Mick? I guess it was for the payoff when he cracks him in the head with the hammer but still would've been interesting to see if Mick actually does let him go by answering correctly.

Pretty sure he got it wrong on purpose so Mick would free his hand, making it easier for Paul to grab the hammer. :P

Finally reviewing this, though it wont really be a long one since I already said some of my thoughts here, in the thread for the first movie, and the character threads for both movies. :P

This started off, like others have said, with a bang (quite literally) and didn't really let up from there. The opening was a nice little blend of meanspirited violence and some chuckleworthy dialogue. I felt satisfied when

I really liked Rutger and his girlfriend and I was totally thrown for a loop when

Then in came Paul. Paul, Paul, Paul. UNF! Hot as fuck and was a lot more likeable, interesting, and so on than the leads of the first three films AND he had a lot more to work with than any of them (especially Ben). He was definitely able to hold his own and *le gasp* he was really intelligent too! (lol) Mick was even more savage and mean here than he was in the first film, doing many more horrible things to people (I've already mentioned the old people and the kangaroos but DAMN! (shock) ). Somehow though, he wasn't nearly as intimidating or chilling here as he was in the first film. I guess that is because of all the wisecracks (not Freddy level but still) and random comments ("dry as a nun's nasty!") he made throughout the film? Still, he got the job done and had a lot of fun doing it (lol) Some parts were pretty jawdropping, not because I was disturbed but because...well...this movie had balls, not holding back at all when it came to erm...anything, really. The ending was a bit strange though. For the most part, it was

7/10 quality. 8.5-9/10 entertainment. Definitely one of the best of the year!

My copy arrived today! :D

I should have read the info for it on Ebay, though. The guy bought the Combo Pack and didn't want the DVD so he scanned the Blu-Ray slip and put it in a case so it's just all white with a small Blu-Ray cover on it. (un)

Oh well, it was $12.

Wow This movie was great. The first was okay to me so I didn't expect to love the first. Yes the lead guy is a cutie lol and the death order surprised me. The acting was so good and I didn't think it would be that brutal. for some reason, my favorite kill is

"While Wolf Creek is basically a home video franchise here in the States, the slasher is a big deal in its home country of Australia.

Mick Taylor will be slashing locals who attend the Fright Nights that takes place at Warner Bros. Movie World.

For the first time, Fright Nights 2014 will feature a maze based on an Australian film, with Movie World partnering with Emu Creek Pictures to create a maze designed around the cult movie Wolf Creek 2 (read our review).

The Wolf Creek 2 Maze will bring the psychotic serial killer Mick Taylor to life and feature terrifying and chilling scenes out of the movie."
