It's the end of the school year for a group of high school friends. Their senior prom was to be a night of elegance, rejoicing and celebrating, but when a psychotic killer hijacks their stretch limo, he is determined to have them Dead On Arrival. The teens are tortured while being held hostage, and soon turn on each other for survival. By the end, we learn that one of the teens had been keeping a secret that played a bigger role in their demise.

The plot sounds interesting. The reviews I've read are scathing, though, and the acting in the trailers is dodgy at best. The kids screaming sound like they're at Halloween Horror Nights rather than scared for their lives.

Here are the trailers:

This sounds pretty awesome<3. I'll definitely be watching it soon.

Lol, Kevin you're so right about the screaming in the trailers. Hopefully that's just cruddy sound quality there and that they're at least a little more convincing in the actual film.

My friend saw this and said it was awful, but I'll probably give it a go anyway.

I thought it might be bad in a way that is a little fun.

This is bad. The first half hour is hilariously bad, but I liked it better than the rest of the movie. I am not even sure who they thought this movie was for. Before the horror stuff starts, it is like actual teenagers decided to grab cameras and make a comedy. After the horror is supposed to start, it seems more like a quasi-horror movie for someone with really specific kinks. One of those kinks involve urine. Anyone looking for a slasher movie is going to have a hard time convincing themselves to watch after the first fifteen minutes. Anyone that isn't into girls peeing, taking off their underwear, fighting, and being forced to have sex probably isn't going to get much out of the rest of the movie.

The sound design is really bad. I mostly couldn't understand what people were saying, but they never really said anything important. They did make sure that we can clearly hear a character peeing in a scene when all the characters had gathered in the women's restroom to talk about what they ordered to drink and have a PSA about homosexuality. Also, they deserve no credit for this PSA. It seems like it was just jammed in there to balance out all of the scenes where the lesbian characters are peer pressured into making out so there male friends could film there, are berated and scapegoated for their sexuality, and forced to fellate a gun.

I don't think they made any good decisions in the style of the movie, especially in having it be three or four totally different and bizarre styles simultaneously. I would think that they were going for realism, but there was a terrible musical number at the beginning of the movie. The guy is terrible at lip syncing, and the entire thing turns temporarily into a very low rent Disney Channel Original Movie. There's even another weird dance sequence later in the movie, except everyone is trying really hard to cry and look frightened in that one. It was a mix of found footage and stuff that wasn't found footage, but it would switch multiple times in every scene. The found footage was as obnoxious as possible. A lot of it even had a battery symbol and things like that. The parts that aren't found footage seemed to be directed by the same person that does Buzzfeed's videos. It is bizarre.

The plot is totally random, but it still manages to have plot holes. The ending makes no damn sense.

They also put VICTIMS in all caps in the beginning, which I strongly disapprove of. It seems sarcastic to me. A character throws up on one of the cameras. I'm just listing random stuff I didn't like now. You need to wear a bra when you go to try on dresses. No dress is going to look right when you try it on over a bathing suit top.

Oh Jesus Christ, this sounds like shit. (lol)

I probably won't get to this until after we have the Best/Worst Of 2015 polls.

God, that sounds terrible. Sounds like my suspicions from the trailers were confirmed.

So this wasn't quite AS bad as I expected it to be but it was still mostly bad. (wary)

Unlike Vanessa, I absolutely HATED the first half hour. It was corny, sloppy, annoying, and was full of characters talking over eachother, talking about nothing at all (I love meaningless chit chat scenes but none of these lasted long enough for me to really get a grasp on the conversation), SINGING AND DANCING (I was hoping Vanessa was lying about the musical number but...), trying on clothes, zooming in on clothed butts, chatting about how shocked they are that two of their friends are lesbians (before pressuring the girls into making out in front of the group to 'impress' the guys and make the other girls yell "OH MY GOD" ten fucking times)....

Finally they get to the limo, which is actually pretty impressive. I loved the look of it (minus the random stripper pole - WHY WAS THERE A STRIPPER POLE IN A LIMO FOR 17/18 YEAR OLDS ON PROM NIGHT?!), I liked the lighting...it seemed like a pretty cool vehicle. The fact that the killer rigged it with (ultimately disappointing) devices/mini-traps was also pretty cool. Hell, the concept of this as a whole is pretty neat. They could've really played with the 'hostage aspect' of this (the opening scene made it seem like they would bounce back and forth between the events inside of the limo and the cops/families scrambling to rescue the teens but instead, we just watched the teens turn against eachother and get sexually assaulted for 45 minutes, ha).

The deaths in this aren't ALL terrible but they're mostly letdowns. Too many lifeless gunshot deaths and aside from one

none were creative. The effects were okay I guess. But we didn't get much creativity.

The characters mostly sucked with the exception of two or three of the girls and even then they're just the least annoying. I felt bad for them when the weird, fucked up urination/sexual assault/gun sucking stuff happened but that's probably because I'd feel bad seeing that happen to anyone - NOT because I genuinely liked these characters.

The ending was really fucking stupid and made no sense. Meh.

Bigtime disappointment since they could've made this really intense. (wary)

3-4/10 quality, 5/10 entertainment. And I'm being VERY generous...

I'm glad that you couldn't understand what they were talking about in the scenes that were just them chatting, too. I had no clue in some scenes, and I was hoping it wasn't just me.

The girls had the better actors. I think one or two of them have been in better stuff.

I'm getting some gifs made for the movies that are going to be on my Worst of the Year list, and the dance number still cracks me up. It has the worst lip syncing that wasn't intentional that I've ever seen. I wish it was possible to capture how awful it is in gif form to share with everyone.

I wish someone would upload that whole scene to YouTube so I can watch it whenever I'm in the mood to be annoyed.

^That might be a good idea. This movie has been a real pain in the ass to make gifs of.

Strangely, this is just now coming out on VOD.

Person filming there Prom , there also CCTV in the limo

For me this movie started off to glee(ly) , that singing and dancing scene went on for to long and they time get ready for the prom.

to me it seem really odd to have in this movie as the rest of the movie had a different feel to it .

Then there limo gets hijacked and messing around with them , tells them to do things or be killed

Few secrets come out and some friends started turn on each other

this was a odd movie, I found some parts watchable others not and I say the same about the acting

I am going to give this a 4 out of 10
