A frustrated and talentless artist finds acclaim for a plaster covered dead cat that is mistaken as a skillful statuette. Soon the desire for more praise leads to an increasingly deadly series of works.

This was mostly okay. A lot of the humor worked and most of the performances were alright, but no one did an AMAZING job. I loved Dick Miller in this though. There's some VERY dark, dark humor in this (and the concept alone is really fucked up but hilarious) and I actually chuckled a few times.

There were some attractive guys in this. The deaths were okay. I loved that one blond woman who was a total bitch for no real reason ("IF YOU WERE A REAL SCULPTOR YOUD MAKE ME SOMETHING RIGHT NOW, WAAAGH"). (lol) The landlady should've had more to do. This seemed to poke fun at a lot of things, which was nice, but in the end I felt like I didn't really have time to 'get to know' any of the characters other than Walter Paisley. I suppose that's fine. This isn't exactly a character study. (lol)

4/10 quality, 7/10 entertainment.

When I saw this while browsing Netflix DVD, I was pretty excited. I missed the first half hour when I saw this the first time, and it isn't exactly a long movie. I had kind of forgotten about it. The whole beatnik thing is really fun. I like that they mostly poke fun of it by imitation instead of going way over the top. The culture can already be pretty silly, and I like that the movie brings that out. The plot itself is pretty funny. I laughed a few times, too.

So a classic horror-comedy. :P I love the tagline.

This was surprising really good, I did not expect to like this as much as I did..

As it a some-what short movie, the movie dose not drag at all and it not always action packed.

I really liked the plot the, was really intruding and I liked how story flowed really well.

I liked some of deaths scenes, most of them were impaled.

it's was clever as they made to see deaths with out even seeing them

I really liked this movie

Really good acting from the whole cast 8 out of 10
