![]() Emma, a graduate student living alone in NYC, is being watched by a stalker who hacks into the technology that surrounds her - laptop, cell phone, and other web connected devices. This obsession continues to grow as the hacker records Emma's most intimate moments. When the thrill of watching isn't enough, the situation escalates to a dangerous and terrifying level. |

This is being released on DVD in March 1st and I am excited for it. I always wonder about what if I'm being watched and how scary it is with all the technology around us. |

I saw the trailer with Freaks of Nature. I was planning on watching it already, but I'm looking forward to it a bit more. |

I have a feeling this movie will do well simply because it has Ashley Benson in it, and she's garnered such a huge young following from her role on Pretty Little Liars. |

Ashley Benson is probably the only part of this that makes this somewhat entertaining. If a movie is going to have me watch someone paint their toenails or play fake tennis, there are much worse actresses they could have picked. I do appreciate that they chose someone charming. I would have appreciated it more if they were to have had anything happen in the movie. This would have made an okay segment in a V/H/S movie or something like that, but it really dragged as a full length film. It just stretches my suspension of belief too far to have so many perfect camera angles with the limited options that her stalker has. It kept the movie from really being tense as often as it needed to be. I wasn't able to be completely invested, and this is something that really relies on that. The escalation also could have been smoother before they went for the big ending. Ashley Benson sold it in her performance, but it didn't come through as much in the script. It seemed more like individual events than something that built up. |

I saw a movie on netflix which this kind of took the plot of called Alone With Her and it really got to. Even though this is probably going to be boring as hell, the technology advancements for how stalkers can get to us is terrifying and make me paranoid for whenever I watch these type of things. |

I agree with Vanessa for the most part. I liked some of the characters a lot even though most of them ended up being pointless, lol. I liked the main girl's friend more than pretty much everyone else and the lead girl was alright I guess. Some of the dialogue was pretty realistic and there were some funny moments. There were also some really creepy moments and the ending was somewhat disturbing. Overall though, it really wasn't anything special and like Vanessa said, not enough happens in it. Even with its sort-of short runtime, it still felt too long. Having one or two deaths would've made things more interesting and while it's been done dozens of times in movies like this, having the stalker make the main girl more and more isolated and alone by killing off her friends or anyone the stalker sees as a 'threat' would've made things better. As it is, it's not a BAD film. Just not one I'll be watching again because I don't see myself getting anything out of a second viewing. It was alright. I probably would've also liked it more if it had come out in the mid-late 2000s when we weren't getting a movie like this every other month, it seems. ![]() 5.5/10 quality, 6/10 entertainment. |
