This was a GREAT film, I got my hands on the book and plan to read it as soon as I have time. Definitely a film I would recommend to anyone! |

It didn't hit the U.S. until this year really. Got to love distribution companies, huh?

I liked this one, for the most part. It just seems like it's part of a bigger universe than what we got onscreen, and there's more to tell. As if the source it's from is a book series instead of just a one-off. The ending was nice though. It fit with the beginning of the movie. I was thrown off by what the fungi creatures could and could not do, or The Hungries, as they're called. They were good adversaries nonetheless. I think if I were to watch this a second time, though, I would be more accepting of their actions as opposed to expecting them to be exactly like zombies. |

I loved the book, and I just picked up the film on DVD. Deciding whether to watch it now or save it for the October Challenge. |
