I reconsidered and got a second summary off of Amazon that's less shitty: Laurie (Laura Flannery) a good-natured college student embarks on a spring break vacation with her friends Faith (Ashton Leigh), Joey (Anthony Del Negro) and her boyfriend Mick (Jamie Nocher) when they get off on the ghostly Exit 14 where they befriend a mysterious store clerk (Tom Sizemore) and are haunted the ghost story he shares with them. |

I could tell by the opening that this might not be a good film despite the makers clearly having their heart in the right place. A lot of the dialogue was poor (but still funny sometimes). "This is some Route 66 type shit!" The music was horrible, especially the jumpscare music. It was really distracting and came close to drowning out a couple of scenes. All four of the main characters were hot. The flashback stuff was shot in an interesting way but I could've done without the voice distortion. Roy was likeable and pretty interesting. The painting bit was stupid. The death order was totally random. The story was mostly booty but overall, this was entertaining enough. 4/10 quality, 6/10 entertainment. |
