Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Four girls go to a cabin in the woods, which is inhabited by evil. This cabin then ensnares them in a labyrinth of macabre as they must battle their way out.

I didn't like this at all. The opening music was pretty great. The audio in general? Terrible. The "yolo" scene was incredibly cringeworthy and a lot of the music was inappropriate and repetitive. The scene where the girls stripped down just to go for a walk was rather obnoxious. The Hell was up with the cat ears one of the girls wore too? (wary)

Some of the dialogue was amusing but most of it was painful. From Evil Dead to The Ring to The Fog, this tried and failed to imitate tons of movies. They even copied the blade licking scene from Evil Dead (2013) almost shot for shot! The sawblade through the hand was the only effect shot that I really cared for. It actually made me squirm a little but other than that, the deaths and effects were forgettable.

Overall, the story made NO sense whatsoever and I'm now convinced that any movie with pig masks (aside from four of the seven Saw films) will suck. I didn't like the Ash ripoff guy either. Not sure why he randomly became the lead? This was just dumb.

3.5/10 quality, 4/10 entertainment.
