So, a lot of people like bitchy/douchey/villain characters provided they're entertaining to watch, like Jessica. That's not what this thread is for. THIS is for when you're on the side of the designated bitch/douche over the so-called-heroes. Whether it be because they're the only smart one, or because you think the protagonist is out of line (or something else). Basically, someone fucked up when making an unlikeable character to root against, since they're kinda the only one to root for --- Some of mine: Vickers - Prometheus Liz - Stage Fright (2014) Zoe - MSPS16P2 Main Guy's Brother - Stag Night I'm sure there's others. |

Vickers in Prometheus is DEFINITELY one of mine (though I really like Shaw as well - Vickers was just much more intelligent and while she was a total bitch, she handled the situation in the smartest way that would've saved more people if they had followed her lead). I'll have to come back to this one. |

I didn't even find Vickers that bitchy. She's cold, sure, but she's surrounded by a bunch of incompetent idiots. I wouldn't have too much patience there either on a high cost, high risk business venture (And I'd say Shaw definitely counts among said idiots). We probably wouldn't have even had a movie if people listened to her Plus, her moral event horizon is... Not letting an infected crew member on the ship... Like Ripley tried in Alien (look how well ignoring her worked out  )

The Burning: I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I think the leads are total assholes. The villain isn't a good guy either, but be doesn't seem as bad in comparison. |
