Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

This was an odd one. Directed by Roberta Findlay (a former porn director who, along with her husband, brought us the controversial [but wholly ludicrous] Snuff in 1977, along with a number of other no-budget howlers), terrorized by the ghost of a murdered man until she finally takes it upon herself to solve his murder. Anything good about this film is all technical; decent photography, New York locations, some effective lighting, that kind of thing. But the performances are sub-standard, the FX are cheap and the story is like a soap opera with occasional nods to such films as The Sentinel and The Tenant. Not Findlay's best film (if there is such a thing) but not her worst, either. Still not much worth bothering with, though -- unless you're a fan of conservative fashion. Our lead actress' entire wardrobe is straight out of an '80s Sears and Roebuck catalogue.
