Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Just curious about who you consider to be the most recent and new wave of Scream Queens?

Yeah I personally don't consider Michelle Trachtenberg a scream queen and actually recognize her most from Ice Princess honestly.

Edit: But I can't believe I forgot Jocelin Donahue. Surprisingly she isn't really a big name in horror but has a strong amount of credits and recently stole the show acting wise in Holidays (for me at least).

I thought she was the best performance in Summer Camp as well. Definitely a good one

Puppy, just because there's no evidence she killed her aunt doesn't make her dating material.

Even though I'm completely indifferent to her, I could see Jane Levy being one if she decides to do a few more horror films.

I think Jane Levy will continue to do horror or other dark projects. I loved her in Suburgatory but don't think see her doing light fluffy romantic comedies (especially since I didn't like her or anything in Fun Size).

I think you get a bit of a boost in scream queen points when you do something in a franchise.

I'm weeping at the reminder that Jane Levy is in Monster Trucks. She is doing an episode of Twin Peaks, though. It doesn't really balance it out.

I don't know who else any more. Maybe the girl from The Visit and Better Watch Out. Olivia DeJonge.

Like Rob Zombie, Mike Flanigan has a few actresses that he works with regularly that will probably rack up enough credits to count just from what they do with him soon.

I think Lulu Wilson will probably be first with all of the stuff she has coming out this year. The Haunting of Hill House is going to be a big deal, and horror fans will definitely be talking about her role in Sharp Objects.

I just thought of Bella Heathcote. I think she probably needs at least one more horror film to really count since Dark Shadows and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies don't fit too neatly into the horror category.
