I've just recently read this book and I thought it was a good read.

I hear that they are going to make this into a movie and I hope they do. I'm curious to see how the movie adaptation will turn out.

Has anyone else read this book?

I'm on my library's wait list. I didn't love The Woman in Cabin 10, the author's other book. Based on that, I really like how she does characterization, so I'm still excited.

See, I've ordered her other book (it hasn't gotten here yet, still waiting). I've wondered if anyone has read her other book.

Do you plan on watching the movie, when it comes out?

Her other book isn't bad. It reminded me a lot of an Agatha Christie novel. I did really like how she introduced her characters and revealed more about them throughout the book. I think it was just missing a little something to take it from good to great.

I will definitely be watching the movie. I like the new phase of Reese Witherspoon's career that has her producing movies based on thriller novels written by women. The casts of Gone Girl and Big Little Lies have been perfect, so I'm looking forward to it.

I really want to see the movie as well. I liked the book well enough that it has peaked my interest in the movie. Plus, I kind of agree with you about Reese Witherspoon anyway.

I really liked the movie adaptation of Gone Girl.

I almost never picture a real actor or actress when I'm reading a book, but I actually imagined Nicole Kidman in her role in Big Little Lies the whole time.

I'm the same way. I never picture a real actor/actress when I'm reading a book. However, there are some actors/actress' that do seem to fit a particular role pretty well, regardless if that is what I've pictured or not.
