Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Trapped in a damaged cryogenic pod, a man is forced to watch a series of horrific science-fiction tales while his life support systems run out. Featuring eight intense stories of the unknown and other-worldly, equally wonderful and terrifying. Visit the GALAXY OF HORRORS, if you dare! Curated from Rue Morgue & Unstable Ground's Little Terrors Festival.

It was alright. I'm not sure why but it seemed too long to me. I think maybe because a few of the stories could have been trimmed a bit. The quality was fairly consistent. There wasn't one that was terrible. They all had at least one thing that they did well.

That's a relief since I've heard from people who are a bit TOO easy to please when it comes to movies that it's totally unwatchable, haha. I'm mildly excited to watch it soon. I think it feeling long might have to do with the actual length. A lot of newer anthologies are in the 75-95 minute range and this is almost 110 minutes, I think.
