A lavish train ride unfolds into a stylish & suspenseful mystery. From the novel by Agatha Christie, Murder on the Orient Express tells of thirteen stranded strangers & one man's race to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again.

It's always a good plot.

I have Johnny Depp fatigue, though.

November 10th

I don't think I'll be seeing this in theaters because I want to limit how much money and attention I give to things starring Johnny Depp. I want to save it up for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2, so I'll be getting this from Netflix.

Me and my Pops are gonna be seeing this when it comes out, cause it's Agatha Christie, you cannot go wrong with the "Queen of Whodunit Mystery". ;)

P.S.: If this does very successfully, I'd love to see them do either The A.B.C. Murders, or a more faithful version of Ten Little Indians, with the dark ending and all.

Never you fear. He has less than ten minutes of screen time which is a relief since I hated his character and I too have Johnny Depp fatigue.

This was really great. I especially loved the look of the main setting and Michelle Pfeiffer's performance. Nothing Oscar-worthy to be found here in terms of performances (which is surprising considering the cast) but everybody did a damn good job.

So far, I've been hearing of it getting a mixed response. But is it at the very least decent enough for me and my Pops to still go see it? I mean, the train setting looks amazing, it's got a star-studded cast, and we've got Kenneth Branagh directing and starring as Hercule Poirot.
