Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

I think that this could have been good. It actually has really good jump scares. The editing was great. Whoever edited this needs to specialize in found footage movies, because this was edited perfectly for the genre. The special effects are all good. They got a lot for their money.

Unfortunately, there is a lot wrong with it. The sound design was not good. It sounded like all of the dialogue was dubbed. I think the acting might have been good, but the sound design was really throwing me off. I'm not sure if it actually got better as the movie went on or if I had just gotten used to it, because it eventually stopped bothering me.

The movie starts with one of the characters losing his eye in an accident and designing a prosthetic with a camera in it so he can film everything he sees. The movie never really explained this. I don't know if it is because I'm a woman and people are always trying to film up our skirts or when we're peeing, but this is not something that I can accept without an explanation.
