Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

If college coeds Lily and Constance look like two out-of-this-world blonde beauties, that's because they're actually intergalactic space invaders with a mission: to breed with humans before taking over the Earth. And even though the girls' mating skills have proven fatal to their victims, they keep on trying. So when Luke, a hard-partying freshman, accidentally witnesses the shapely shape-shifters in their full-bodied alien state, he knows it's up to him to save the planet before he truly gets wasted.
This movie could easily have been called Thots From Outer Space, and not just because that is an apt summary of the plot; the sexual politics of this film are mostly taken from the sorts of people who use the word "thot" in everyday speech, and the logical conclusions they get taken to make parts of the film incredibly uncomfortable to watch, especially nowadays. (The flamethrower scene reminded me of Elliot Rodger in all of the worst ways.) Combine that with an obnoxious cast of main characters, and this is a movie that should've had me throwing it out the window... and yet, it's just too knowingly stupid to be offensive. It refuses to take itself seriously to the point where it's almost a horror-comedy in some moments, the cast is surprisingly decent even if their characters were awful, I liked the practical effects on the aliens, and overall, it exuded "so bad it's good", as is to be expected of a Sci-Fi Channel Original Movie. This is bad in some pretty damning ways, but when combined with the general tone of the film, it merely enhances how cheesy it is.
