Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Sometimes living or dying comes down to a matter of choice. It took Annabel (Eliza Dushku) and Matt (Wes Bentley) to help their shattered friend make that choice -- help that would prove a killer journey. College freshman Cassie (Melissa Sagemiller) steps into a nightmare of otherworldly visitations after surviving a devastating car accident.
I watched this for the October Challenge, and I swear to God, it is one of the worst horror movies I've ever seen, yet another example of how badly the post-Scream teen horror boom burned out and made an utter embarrassment of itself. The actors are either playing their stock personas or are completely wooden, the direction is so abysmal that it made the film harder to follow, the plot left behind gaping holes concerning what had been major parts of the film until then, and it even managed to bungle the cheapest sort of jump scares! The only reason to see this is to witness a case study in how not to make a horror movie.
