It stars Jeff Morrow (THIS ISLAND EARTH, THE CREATURE WALKS AMONG US) and former Playboy Playmate Mara Corday. The movie is one of the more notorious giant monster movies of the era, due mainly to the monster's goofy appearance. Supposedly an embarrassed Jeff Morrow left a screening because people were laughing so much. The movie isn't bad. It's pretty much a standard monster flick. I think people just let the monster sink the entire movie. No way is it as poorly written or sloppily made as some other '50s anti-classics like PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE.
