Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Nica (Fiona Dourif) is grieving over the gruesome suicide of her mother when her domineering older sister Barb (Danielle Bisutti) arrives with her young family in tow to help settle their mother’s affairs. As the sisters butt heads over Nica’s plans for the future, Barb’s young daughter comforts herself with a grinning, red-haired talking doll named Chucky (voiced again by Brad Dourif) that recently arrived mysteriously in the mail. But as a string of brutal murders begins to terrorize the household, Nica suspects the doll may hold the key to the bloodshed. What she doesn’t know is that Chucky has a personal score to settle. He’s determined to finish a job he started more than 20 years earlier, and this time he’s going to see it through to the bloody and shocking end.

I'm not. Pretty sure it's going to be at Walmart for around the same price as the pre-order, so I'll just pick it up there. Besides, the last time I pre-ordered something it didn't get to my house until six days after the release date.

Yeah I hate preordering games too cuz it's the same. That's why I'll just find it in a store.

Well some games you have to pre-order or else they'll all be gone first day of release like GTAV lol. But Curse will be fine. I'm getting mine at walmart too hopefully.

*Watches as a line forms around the block for the Curse of Chucky release* omg that'd shock the hell out of me lol.

Im just gonna order this on VOD. Im not gonna buy it without seeing it, though I do LOVE going into stores and getting something I want on the first day of release.

I would probably try best buy. I doubt barnes and noble would have it on first day release.

Yikes, BOTH places are pretty damn overpriced when it comes to newly released DVDs. Sucks you don't have Walmart near you.

I have a target but I would either have to take a long bus ride or take a train to brooklyn to get to one. Which I really don't feel like doing. I can't really think of what other stores would have it.

We used to have HMV stores all over the UK - now we have none. That's why I have to preorder from Amazon.

I need to familiarize myself with video stores. I do have some around but never paid attention to them.

I'll try Wal-Mart. This seems like something they would definitely have.

I can't wait to see this. I've heard nothing but good reviews for it.

Same here D:
Only two more weeks! I'll definitely be getting the Blu Ray/DVD combo pack. Unfortunately, I may have to wait an extra week since my birthday is only six days after this is released.

I hope so too. :x I don't doubt that it'll do pretty well when it comes to DVD sales. After all, pretty much 'everybody' knows who Chucky is, even if they haven't seen any of the Child's Play films. At worst, a lot of money will be made from RedBox rentals and things like that.

Oh definitely Johnny. Its going to do huge for sure. I think it's best its going this route than theaters to be honest. With theaters chances of potential sequels are made iffy as we have seen from the likes of Friday and Halloween.

I just wish it'd get a limited release (like two theaters per state or something) so it could make at least two or three million bucks that way. :P
