Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

In this remake of the original classic film, a group of people are trapped inside a farmhouse as legions of the walking dead try to get inside and use them for food.

LOLYES.

Ben > Barbara > Harry > Johnny > Tom/Helen > Sarah > Judy in this movie.

So I've been hearing about the Twilight Time bluray for a while and how great it is but I just looked it up and it doesn't have any special features (besides an isolated musical score track) that aren't already on the DVD that can be found for like two bucks. I get that it's rare and all but that doesn't make It worth like 50 bucks for me.

I always found it funny that, along with making Barbara a more worthy, tougher character, they also pretty much turned her into a butch chick in the later half of the movie. XD

Talking about this with Aaron right now and sharing our disappointment with the fact that Helen and Judy were so weak in this compared to the original, lol. I still like the Helen in this (but I dislike Judy) but she's nowhere near as strong and likeable as the original Helen.

Seriously. I know people like to complain that Barbara being traumatized in the original from watching her brother die is somehow sexist (guess the realistic reaction to watching a sibling unexpectedly die is to turn into a Ripley ripoff?), but this is kind of the definition of one step forward two steps back by their own complaints. (I'd just call it three steps back, personally)

Hate this. It sorta plays out like a rehash of the original..... Except all the actual originality is sucked out The Hitcher remake style. The survivor(s) are FAR more generic, the characters are more generic and reduced to caricature (take Harry, who's a douche, but has some layering in the original and is proven to be right about the basement. In this, he's a moustache-twirler who's wrong about everything), etc.

Puppy, just because there's no evidence she killed her aunt doesn't make her dating material.
