Slightly disturbed and painfully shy Angela Baker is sent away to summer camp with her cousin. Not long after Angela's arrival, things start to go horribly wrong for anyone with sinister or less than honorable intentions.

Haha this is definitely a cult classic. The over the top soapy acting and music makes it all the more enjoyable. The kills were nasty(Curling iron in the vagina! ouch!) and it was great seeing teens playing teens. One of my favorite horror movies PERIOD. This deserves to be seen by more people. I think I'll show it to my nephews and niece someday soon. I think they're old enough to handle the ending. LOL.

Just saw this movie. I loved it. The killer is predictable but that ending was just wow. I was like WTF

But everything made sense.

That worker had the nicest body ever. =]
The shower death made me cringe because it was the spine. <_<

This is one of my favorite slashers of all-time. It provided great kills, great characters, a perfect setting of course, and one hell of a twist ending. Love it.

I Did like how they made it predictable about the killer but the ending just surprises you, you did not expect it to turn out that way.

I seriously love this movie. (GOO)
Suspensful, great atmosphere, two of the biggest bitch characters ever, and while the kills were often suggested or short, they still packed a heavy punch. I love how it had the guts to kill off like five CHILDREN in it. And were you shocked by that ending? I know I sure as hell was!

Yes I was shocked. I remember texting keon like "WTF WTF WTF" at the ending. Loved Ricky's foul mouth and yes this movie is great for having the balls to kill off children.

Brad Jones (the Cinema Snob) aka one of my film critic idols summed this whole movie up perfectly in three words:

I met Felissa Rose last weekend and she is looking super fine. Here is a photo of me and her and plenty more of the Summer Fear festival (a smaller Maritime event in Nova Scotia) can be read here: Summer Fear III

It took years and repeated viewings for me to warm up to the movie. I remember seeing it as a kid and not liking it at all, but was completely struck by the ending. Lol. Over the years, I have grown to like it more, but it's still not a top favorite. It does have some good kills and scenery and, yes, that ending.

Scream Factory is releasing an unedited cut of the movie on Blu-ray in 2014. They also said they are working on a boatload of extras for it too. I haven't heard if there will be a DVD version or a DVD/Blu-ray combo.

Either way, I'm going to pick that up day one. Thank God its finally getting a great release. Let's hope the sequels get the same.

This one's my second favorite. Definitely the most atmospheric of the bunch and it has some great moments. It just lacked the 'punch' that the second one had, or the fun factor.
