Camp Rolling Hills will never be the same. Not with their newest camp counselor Angela Johnson arriving. While there once was nothing but the best summer camp ever, it's now only a killing field to her. No matter what anyone does, Angela will have a problem with it. And when this woman has a problem with someone, she's not one to try and resolve it through conversation. No, she'd rather find inventive ways to make all the campers hearts stop beating using anything necessary to accomplish her goal. As the number of campers becomes noticably slimmer, it's up to one courageous girl to try and get out of Camp Rolling Hills alive.

I'm sad that Whatever Happened to Molly is so short. Everything else looks stunning though!

Yeah, I'm REALLY excited to finally watch the two part documentary (second half is on the SC3 new edition) and the filming locations feature. :D

I love love LOVE SC2 and 3! Easily some of my favorite slashers of all time. I went nuts trying to find that First Aid Kit Boxset.

So just putting it out there, because it was actually on my mind recently. What do you guys think happened to Molly?

Bear in mind I've yet to see the short film that was done called Whatever Happened to Molly. But way back when I first saw it, I thought that Angela might have imprisoned Molly somewhere for her own keeping or that The Survivor was going to be focused on her (before that ultimate disappointment came out). Now I agree with others when they say she was killed off screen.

I agree to that, but then I get to thinking of Marcia and Tony in 3 and I wonder why she never killed them. (I mean she tried to after Marcia attacked her, but had she not she wouldn't have.)

I'm not sure why she spared them, but killed Anita and Greg--since I thought Marcia and Tony were kind of boring themselves.

Angela is a sucker for teenage romance. So I'm assuming that was why

^ But it's still odd that she let them live but killed off quite a few other couples (including a couple of 'nice, sweet' ones) in the first two films. (shock) Oh well.

There were some really good decent in-trusting deaths scenes in this movie that I really liked and also really enjoyed the nods to other 80's classic horror movies.

I don't mind some nudity in movies but i felt they put to much in this movie and it got dull as the movie went on.

The acting was really poor from most of the cast and i did not like the ending at all, i thought that was really bad way to end a movie.

I still going to give it 5 out of 10

Let's see:

~ This had better acting than the original
~ The direction and editing were better
~ I felt the kills were better too
~ I don't mind the more comedic route this one took, but it would have been nice to have that whodunit aspect up until Angela has her flashback dream of all the kills in this movie
~ And what about the campers? Are they all supposed to be counselors? Are there any kids at this summer camp? The original did a better job of counselors to campers ratio, IMO. The head guy was better than the original head of operation though. So there's that.
~ Nice nods to the other horror franchises at that time also. It knows what kind of a movie it is and what it's ripping off. Definitely has its tongue planted firmly in its cheek. More so than the original.

6/10

My only real complaint about the Scream Factory edition is that the one commentary on the disc is the same commentary from the previous DVD release, lol.

I feel like if I saw this I would think it's overrated. The original was noteworthy for its sleaze and twist but I didn't like it and am not sure about this. I feel like I'm lumpin it with those 80s slashers I found redundant.

You actually might like it. It's WAY more comedic than 1 (which takes itself too seriously)

LOOOOOOVE this movie. By far the best of the series. It is so funny (lol) (lol) (lol)

Puppy, just because there's no evidence she killed her aunt doesn't make her dating material.
