It's summer camp as usual at Camp Manabe where the kids torment each other for fun while the underpaid camp staff provides as little supervision as possible. Greedy camp owner Frank and junior partner Ronnie do their best to keep everyone in line, but something sinister is about to put a slash in the roster. When campers and staff mysteriously begin disappearing and turning into gruesome corpses, paranoid Ronnie can't shake the memory of a series of grisly murders that took place at Camp Arawak, where he worked two decades earlier. Has a ghost from the past come back to haunt him? As the paranoia worsens, Ronnie's list of possible killers starts growing just like the body count. Everyone becomes a suspect from vicious kids to shady members of the camp staff, and even former Camp Arawak camper Ricky who mysteriously works nearby. Who is knocking off these victims and why? Only one thing is for certain, something is carving a bloody new trail at Sleepaway Camp where kids can be so mean and surviving this summer is gonna be a real killer!

I got this sequel in a comboback with several F-grade b-horror films. This certainly wasn't much better than all of them, and it's not a worthy sequel to the first three movies, but it's still entertaining enough.

Even if the bullied kid in this one is a LOT more annoying than Angela ever was.

I definitely don't like it more than the original, but I really don't hate it haha. It's got some quality to it.

Angela's always cool.

Like I've said, I DO like this movie... What I don't get, though, is how it's such a lower quality than the first three. I mean, it's written and directed by the director of the original... Usually when that happens with a sequel, it means good things! :P

Would it make you feel better if I say not that much? I admit it's a bad movie, but I don't regret buying it in a four DVD pack at Tom Thumb for five bucks. I just likely won't ever watch it again.

I think the only way I would understand someone liking this is if they were super hardcore fans of the series, but even then (wary)

Off the bat, Alan is the most unlikeable, most irritating lead character ever!!!

That aside, this movie is sort of like the TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D of the series. It's got ideas I like, hot leading ladies, but it's just so stupid and poorly written I can not believe this film is real.

I know it was made by the same writer/director as the original, but clearly he got rusty. Someone had to tell the guy this film was crap. Thisprobably could've been so much better if there was a second writer.
It's more like the TCM Next Gen of the series.
Nah. NEXT GENERATION at least has more entertainment value and likeable characters. So like TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D, this film is just wasted potential.
