A masked killer, wearing World War II U.S. Army fatigues, stalks a small New Jersey town bent on reliving a 35-year-old double murder by focusing on a group of college kids holding an annual Spring Dance.

I love this movie. Its a slasher masterpiece. Great gore, creepy killer, likeable lead girl. Its a little slow in places, but still fantastic regardless <3

I need to have a double feature of this and Final Chapter. This is freaking perfection.

I feel like I am the only person who feels that it is NOT one of the best slashers ever made. Half of the kills are in the first 20 minutes (what the FUCK?!) and it suffered from major pacing issues. Still though, it's pretty good overall and not only is it worth seeing, it's worth buying. I like it but it's far from being a masterpiece. 7/10.

P.S. Thanks Keon for sending me a copy of this! <3.

Yeah, there are slow bits in it, but there were a lot of 80s slashers with a few sluggish scenes, so I don't really hold that against it. The only real problem I had was

Its definitely in my top ten slashers though.

I totally agree. Instead of a 12+ bodycount this had like...8 or 9 and over half were in the first 45 minutes. Meh. Missed opportunity, imo. Sure, Horror isn't all about the piled up bodies but films of THIS kind should have a bit more punch than this one had.

Its still one of the best to me though. The pitchfork in the shower kill is one of my favorite slasher deaths ever. The knife through the head was amazing too.

Oh trust me, I love both of those. It's just a shame that two of the best kills were in the first quarter of the film. This desperately needed a meanstreak, one that took place AFTER the 20 minute mark. ;)

Has anyone noticed the scene where shes hiding under the bed, and the rat comes, is almost just like F13 Part 2?

Yeah this is really good slasher. I need to watch it again because I am starting to get fuzzy on details except I always remember that pitchfork scene. And the pool scene. Of course, with all the slashers I have seen they are starting go together. I always thought it would be neat to take and make a video of at least a hundred kills from the lesser known slashers. I could probably list at least 50 stand alone slashers.

Had high expectations when I saw this a couple of years ago but thought it was pretty average and forgettable.

I agree it's definitely not one of the best slashers I've seen. Really great kills though. Head thru knife made me cringe. I liked the throat slashing too. and I think the people who didn't die like
