Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

A family going to California accidentally goes through an Air Testing range closed to the public. They crash and are stranded in a desert. They are being stalked by a group of people, which have not emerged into modern times.

A classic in my book, although the remake is better.

I agree with this. This film is a classic and it's very mucky and raw but I do prefer the remake.

I just thought the remake of hill has eyes was an original movie.

Nah far from it, though I definitely see the remake as being the better of the two.

This. There's some great atmosphere in the remakes, but the originals are dark and gritty. Both are brutal and bloody. Just a solid set of horror movies, regardless of decade.

I'm divided. This has stuff the remake need, the remake has stuff this one needed. As for the film on it's own, this is one of my favorite non-Freddy related Wes Craven films.

Another one I need to see. I've only seen the remake.

It looks like Arrow is going all out for their new release of this. The list of special features is already pretty long, but they say that there are more that haven't been announced yet.

Not bad 70's low-budget flick, except for some of the acting.

Quite intense. Especially that baby abduction scene. I think I prefer the remake altogether though, but, like someone else already stated on here, there's stuff that works better in this version and then there's stuff that works better in the remake. So, overall, this is definitely a classic and well worth checking out, but don't forget to check out the remake as well.

I think Beast is my favorite character, to be honest.
