A masked killer targets six college kids responsible for a prank gone wrong years earlier and whom are currently throwing a large New Year's Eve costume party aboard a moving train.

LolYes X_X I have a feeling its another one you'll find boring though since it is pretty slow. Love the costumes and the setting though. (thumbsup) It should've had a couple more kills though.
I don't mind slow slashers I just don't want an hour of nothing going on lol

I'll go into it with average expectations though as I've heard several different things about this.

Ah, well its not THAT slow/boring. (lol) Definitely one of the worst (if not THE worst) of the Horror movies Jamie Lee Curtis starred in around this time.

Jamie Lee Curtis was very good in these kind of slasher films back in the good old days, I've see a long tome ago and it was good to me. (party)

Decent, but very predictable and I am not sure if they were trying to hide who the killer was with the costumes etc because if they were they did a horrific job.

I keep forgetting how hot Doc and The Magician are.

"If she dumps you, you've always got me you know." (yum) Unf.

Really liking it this time but I still wish two or three more people have been killed. I have a feeling that if it'd been released in '81 we would've had an even ten onscreen kills. Sucks that the bodycount was okay but like...six or seven of the deaths were offscreen.

Finally got around to watching this after never getting the chance for decades and I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was dark, the train setting was great, and I loved how the killers changes costumes throughout the movie. The way the killer died in the finale was great. I wouldn't mind a modern day reboot if done right.

Oh yeah and I loved Jamie Lee in here, she was definitely one of my favorites. I also loved Doc, he was a hottie and I caught that scene where he somewhat flirted with Jamie's boyfriend(who was his best friend), that whole "I'll ALWAYS be here for you, I mean it, always" or whatever he said was a little eye brow raising lol. Anyway great film, loved the setting as I said before. The killer was predictable to the point I don't why they tried to make us guess who it was- but I still enjoyed it. One of my newest faves and definitely on my list of favorite 80s slashers.

I'd actually love to see a good remake of this<3.

Glad I'm not the only one who is all "unf" at Doc. (lol)

I love the setting, and the killer wearing the victims costumes. Loved the atmosphere too. So there is that going for it.

The kills are kinda weak, but I'd be a lot more forgiving of that if these characters weren't all assholes you wanted to see die. The worst is by far JLC's for me (the others were unlikeable too, but she's hypocritical, smug, and self-righteous about it), but that criticism goes for them all. One of these two factors really needed improving. Either kill them in awesome ways as we cheer Slaughter a High style, or make them sympathetic so the suspense pays off. This didn't do either. It tried to leave us in suspense as unlikeable assholes are picked off in bland ways, which is a bit of a problem

Puppy, just because there's no evidence she killed her aunt doesn't make her dating material.
