Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

The original. Can't beat the suspense and I'm a sucker for black and white.

Psycho II. In some scenes, it matches the suspense of the original. The story was very strong, as were the deaths and the climax. The final scene was pretty stunning for me.

LOL That final scene was great. But yeah I love Psycho 2 as well. Psycho 3 feels really sleazy to me though but I kinda have a soft spot for it. I'd have a double feature of Psycho 3 and Friday 5 cause they both feel really sleazy lol.

Not to mention the fact that both have Juliette Cummings (Robin in F13 Part V)!

VERY shocked that Psycho II has gotten more votes than the original.

Thank God no one's picking 3, 4, and the remake. (lol)

Hitchcocks for me. even though it is 53 years old its still incredibly easy to watch and its an absolute masterpiece

Well if they done it differently, I would've appreciated it. especially if they had a different actor for norman.

With the exception of the '98 remake (could there have been a worse idea?) I think this is one of those rare series where every entry has something fantastic to offer. But as uncommonly good as the sequels are, few films can touch the original, IMO.

^ Agree on all counts, except that I like II more than the original.

Even the remake, though, has some good things to offer us. The stock Sarah Michelle Gellar scream. Julianne Moore's walkman. Vince Vaughn masturbating. The list goes on.

Jk. I don't hate the remake.

I voted for Psycho II. I could never stomach the original Psycho and why I even bothered with Psycho II when it came on, I'll never know - but I'm glad I did, because Psycho II was fantastic and I was on the edge of my seat from the moment I saw to the very end.

Pretty much been a Psycho fan since (I even own the original now)

^ Why couldn't you stomach the original? Just too much to handle as a kid?
