Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

A young family are visited by ghosts in their home. At first the ghosts appear friendly, moving objects around the house to the amusement of everyone, then they turn nasty and start to terrorise the family before they "kidnap" the youngest daughter.

I never saw this classic before because it never interested me. Maybe I should see it.

I revisited this a few days ago and I was disappointed. I felt like it was plagued with some plot holes and some cheesy acting. However, I still think it's a classic movie and should be judged as such, so I still rated it highly, as I do hold the movie dear to my heart.

Though it's a classic movie, it chills me right to the core.

Classic, iconic, fantastic movie. A huge movie from my childhood. Horror done the Spielberg way. And yes, it is Spielberg all over the movie.

Craig T. Nelson is a local boy and I've met and talked with him a couple times.

I love this movie. The Spielberg-ness makes it a great introduction to horror for possible new fans.

Poltergeist (1982) I seen this movie so many times, I Love more each time I watch it.

It's may not be the scariest movie made However I really enjoyed the whole movie, from start to end.

This movie dose have some moments you may remember well after the movie is over,

there some scene that make me laugh a little as can be tad silly but still love those silly scenes, fit in well with the rest of the movie.

Some of effect well really decent for the time,

The acting in this movie was really good from the whole cast 8 out of 10

Puppy, just because there's no evidence she killed her aunt doesn't make her dating material.
