Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Six different people, each from a very different walk of life, awaken to find themselves inside a giant cube with thousands of possible rooms. Each has a skill that becomes clear when they must band together to get out: a cop, a math whiz, a building designer, a doctor, an escape master, and a disabled man. Each plays a part in their thrilling quest to find answers as to why they've been imprisoned.

The acting may not be all that great, but I love this film. Definitely worth rewatching over and over again. For me, any way.

I never remembered the acting bothering me. This was really great. Love the concept, the character-focus, the tension, how mysterious it all is, etc.

Puppy, just because there's no evidence she killed her aunt doesn't make her dating material.

I understand why Rennes didn't have a bigger role in this but I really like Wayne Robson so I'm always (un) at him not being in this past the 18 minute mark, lol.

Just looked him up. He passed away five years ago! I had NO idea! :(

Yeah, I was so upset to find out he passed away some time ago. Before I saw him in Cube, I loved him as the "scardy cat" gravedigger in that one Mary Kate and Ashley movie.

Can't you see it? The effects of cinema violence on society?
