Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Eight strangers find themselves waking up in a strange cube-shaped room with no recollection of how they came to be there. Soon discovering that they're in a strange fourth dimension where our laws of physics don't apply, they have to unravel the secrets of the "hypercube" in order to survive...

So I did actually like this one due to absurd amounts of mindfuck despite the shift from outright horror to more sci-fi influenced horror.

A big letdown compared to the first, but I enjoyed it more on a rewatch.

Ugh, this is such a mess. I've tried to figure out how it even fits into the series, but it only leaves me scratching my head more. It's hard to describe it. It feels almost fanfiction like with how it works. I've yet to see it, but it's sort of like "Nine Dead" before that happened, with everyone being connected somehow.

The ending has me perplexed and the "twist" with one of the characters made me feel stupid for not realizing it sooner.

What a crappy sequel. I was bored to death on how slow this sht was. The "traps" were crap compared to the first one. The characters were okay though although that old lady is annoying. I feel like this is more comedic then the first. My friend fell asleep several times when we were watching this. I stuck with it and I didn't like the ending. Not watching this crap ever again lol

The thing is that chaps my ass that makes me feel so fucking stupid is this "twist" with a character and a name that is mentioned so fucking much. How it wasn't noticed before by me makes me question my intelligence. I still don't understand how in any fucking context this is supposed to make sense unless it was all a simulation. Supposedly they were only in there for a few minutes, not hours or days.

And with this being the end of the time line, the ending makes no fucking sense and doesn't help but give us more unanswered questions. Cube was smart in leaving a mystery for us. Hypercube ruins it with garbage that makes things more stressful to put together because of the plotholes the side of Lake Ontario.

This is boring compared to the first one. I'm so anticipating cool and more bloody traps but blah. The physics stuff isn't appealing to me at all and some parts of it are a bit confusing.

The traps aren't as unique, death-wise, in this film as they were in the original, but, then again, the whole cube, or hypercube rather, in this movie is one big time/parallel universe trap. So there's that. The sequel may be more sci-fi than horror this go 'round, but I really enjoyed that. Even though I missed a few clues about some twists and I didn't exactly get how everything about the hypercube worked, I still would watch it again. Not as much as the original, I'm afraid, but still . . . Now I have to check out the third film. Hope the fourth one is still on. Reboot, remake, what have you.

I haven't heard anything about the fourth film (or remake) for a few months. (shock)

Oh well, there's always my script. (troll)

Puppy, just because there's no evidence she killed her aunt doesn't make her dating material.
