Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

A man decides to turn his moribund life around by winning back his ex-girlfriend, reconciling his relationship with his mother, and dealing with an entire community that has returned from the dead to eat the living.

If you have not seen this film, you need to. Not only is it one of my top ten fave zombie films, it's my all time favorite comedy, ha. All seven of the main characters are well developed, quirky, unique, hilarious, entertaining, and at times VERY sympathetic, with my faves being Barbara, Dianne, and Liz in that order. The guys and Yvonne were still awesome. Before seeing this I expected a lame, bloodless, unfunny comedy. Instead, I got the only comedy film that's ever made me laugh more than just a couple times. It was also very harsh when it came to deaths, despite the over the top nature of them. I cringed when Mary fell onto the pole thing and stood up with that gaping hole. Fucking OW. The effects are also amazing<3. They really didn't skimp out on this one, honestly. The story wrapped up nicely and the entire thing was handled very well. I'm happy to say I have this in my zombie collection<3. 9/10

Love this flick. Twelve years and more re-watches than I can count later, it's still loads of fun and infinitely quotable. Matter of fact, I think I'll put this flick on right now as I hit the sack.

I remember how pumped we all were at my middle school when this came to DVD. :D I remember my friends Bailey, Guinevere, and I were all so obsessed with it, and when it came to DVD, we were all begging our parents to buy it for us. :P

It's really grown on me over the years. I wish Wright would make a sequel.

The part that sticks out in my mind when I think of it.. is the scene when Philip gets emotional with Shaun in the car right before he dies. The scene has real impact.
