Sure. It was good overall. I knew it wasn't hated before I read this topic but was kind of curious how it would pan out after looking at this thread. I personally think it was a pretty solid slasher. There weren't tons of kills nor much gore, but I really liked the way they set up the killer.

I like the killer a lot... he was clever, adaptable and evil. He was, IMO, very much like a Ted Bundy type. The women loved him and he could switch appearances and personalities on a whim just like a real sociopath. He was also a bit human... he wasn't a monstrous stalker that just ran over everybody. He showed realistic behavior with the bikers and some of his run ins with the authority... this made him seem like a plausible killer which I think greatly enhanced this film.

I like how they kept switching how things were going to happen up, I liked his use of the payphones and the voice manipulation and how he set his different victims up. I especially like that he was unmasked from the beginning and he wasn't really revealed until later and I enjoyed the little twist at the end.

Was it the best? Nah... but it was certainly worth watching and I figured it would have been a bit cheesier.

Don't have U.S Netflix and it isn't even available on DVD over here.

Tried to look for a download and nothing.

Youtube it is then.

I wonder what the new features and cover art will be like in the new release that's coming. (goo)

I was hoping the upcoming Scream Factory release would be out by now.

Yeah, not sure why they decided to release it at a random time in 2015 instead of sometime in December, 2014.

I can't decide if I want to bother with a rewatch now when there's a new release coming out.

Yep. A strange move by a company that gets so much right

Oh well. I'm just hoping that the features will be worth it and that the transfer will be great. I'll probably be watching it this week on Youtube or Netflix (if it's still there) AND when I buy the bluray it's re-released.

What does that even mean 'the last one'. Last one for what?
You kill or you die. Or you die and you kill.

Rewatched it two nights ago and I liked it A LOT more than I did the first time. I just still hate the funky dancing, awkward extras, and how a lot of the characters looked (though some of the guys in the bands were really hot). I really wish that

had lasted longer. Why kill a best friend character five minutes in? (lol) The lead was okay for the most part but kind of got robbed of the chase-and-fight sequence I was hoping she would get at the end. The kills were mostly tame but better than I remembered. I will probably be watching this from now on at the end of December.

I honestly would love to see a remake of this. I think it could be great. Not sure why this wasn't chosen during the slasher remake craze was in.

I don't either since the New Years Eve 'one kill for each timezone' gimmick is enough to draw an audience.

That's one of the reasons I don't mind the lowish bodycount in this, because it actually had a reason behind it. It wasn't just randomly low like some other slashers.

Agreed. I remember hating the low count when I first saw it but if you think about it, its actually not THAT low at

I would want the remake to have at least 15 kills though; maybe two or three more 'double kills' and the best friend character lasting longer.
