Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Joanne, Patty, Brian, and Craig prepare the old dorm building to be torn down. They are pursued by a serial killer with a wide range of murder methods, ranging from power drill to industrial steam cooker. Is it that spooky weird guy John Hemmit killing off the incidental characters, or is it someone/thing even more terrifying?

AH! So I was right with my guess! (lol) Still, five minutes longer is pretty good for an 80s movie. The Friday The 13th only had like...10 seconds put back in for the Uncut DVD.

The uncut version definitely makes a difference in this one. Some of the added things are completely unnecessary, but enough of it is gore for it to be a big improvement. I forgot how slow the second act is, but the ending is still really great.

Just finished the interviews (which were both pretty decent) and the trailers (lol@the overuse of "Its not funny anymore-ore-ore-ore") and now I'm listening to the commentary.

The directors have really nice sounding voices. I wonder what they look like. Or what they looked like 33 years ago anyway. (coffee)

I liked it even more this time, probably because I could see things a lot more clearly. (lol) I sort of wish that there'd been one more girl (or even one more guy) in the main group since four is sort of small for a movie like this (yet it still had a double digit bodycount somehow). I'd forgotten how intense the last 20 minutes or so were. The drill kill and triple-kill in the first act were much nastier in this extended version. I really don't like that Joanne's boyfriend had a couple of random scenes in the first ten minutes but then just disappeared never to be heard from or mentioned again afterward. Waste of a good potential kill or red herring...or both! LOL@everyone constantly suspecting that John dude just because he had poofy fucked up hair. Poor guy! (lol)

I really liked this<3. And what was up with all of the random rainbow banners/posters that kept popping up?!

I was thinking maybe the director or someone is gay, and he wanted those in there as a sort of gay pride kind of thing. I've read other people thought that as well. If so, that just makes me love it more <3

Oh, same.

Plus, I have a slight feeling the main 'team' (two guys) had/have a 'thing' going on but I could be wrong. (lol)

The killer was also really hot so this scores some extra points for that too<3.

I need to see this movie especially after watching this trailer:

That tagline is so great. Right? "Where the only thing you'll learn is how to die."

When I first saw this film as a teen in the 80's I hated it and thought it was so shitty. But now I like this film alot. It's terribly acted but the plot was so simple and I liked the ending. I have it on vhs and bluray now.

Back then I would have given it a -10 outta 10 rating but now I would give it a 5/10
