In a small college in North Carolina, only a select few students are left to take mid terms. But, when a killer strikes, it could be everyone's final exam.

Scream Factory is releasing this on Blu-ray this summer. They said the features from the previous DVD release will be imported over, but no word yet on if there will be new features.

This movie started off like any other cheesy 80s slasher. Two menopausal looking "kids" making out in a dark car in a secluded area at night. Cue the prude of a girlfriend constantly telling her blue balled boyfriend that she's scared and wants to leave over and over and over again. What an annoying bitch. But of course prude girl is right as they are attacked by a mysterious killer which is off screen. We end on the girl screaming bloody murder(like she must being doing now 30 odd years later whenever someone finds out she did this movie) and the movie begins...or not. What follows is fifty long minutes of TALKING. Seriously, you have a group of completely BORING ass characters that all look the same and have the same horrible fashion sense. It was hard to tell these goons apart.

At first, I enjoyed the talking as it was nice getting to know the characters, but after fifty minutes of pointless shanagans and meaningless drivel I just turned numb and stopped caring. It's almost like this was originally some cheesy pilot about a group of wonky college students but at the last minute the director decided to make it a slasher film. Seriously, it's nothing but a bunch of talking- this movie talks more than Joan Fucking Rivers. And when the killings do start they are as boring and lifeless as the fifty minutes before. The final girl doesn't do anything but run around really slowly for a good 15 minutes. What an easy paycheck for that actress. The killer was also not at all intimidating. He looked like a stocky divorced soccer dad who shops at Sears.

2/10. Absolutely boring.

Next!

Yawn.
Exactly what I was doing throughout that whole crappy movie.

Never watching it again unless I want something to fall asleep on.

I'm surprised you have a hard on for this tripe.

50 minutes without a kill in a slasher is so not something I would see you creaming your pants over.

And did I say I was creaming my damn pants? Lulz no. I give it a 6/10 or so, which to me is 'pretty average but desperately needed at least two or three more kills and about thirty more seconds of bloodshed.'

Try reading other people's reviews sometime? You'll see I didn't LOVE it. I just don't think its 2/10 worthy. To me, that's only a tiny step ahead of the likes of Blood Lake. (chew)

Oh and correction; 7/10 at the time but has since went down to a 6/10, my mistake, ha.

It's crap. I couldn't wait for it to be over.

It'd make a nice 80s sitcom pilot though <3

Ooookay then.
It would, just cut out the last 20 minutes worth of dry lazy kills.

I'm sorry but I don't find a movie full of boring college students talking about pledging and exams with only 20 minutes worth of kills interesting.

But to each his own.

*shrug*

On to the next movie. I should've listened to you Jared. XD

The movie is a snoozefest but I liked the kills. I can easily see this bring remade though.

I'd LOVE a remake. I do think this could've shaved off ten minutes of the second act and it would've been fine. Or, like I've always said, just add at least one random kill during that 50 minute gap.

I finally watched this, not bad and probably one of the most underrated slashers.
It kind of bites off Halloween, but I think it also helped inspire other films like
"Urban Legend." Some people seem to dislike it partly because the killer's
identity & motive are anonymous, but I don't mind it and think it's creepier
that way.
