![]() Eccentric millionaire Fredrick Loren and his 4th wife, Annabelle, have invited 5 people to the house on Haunted Hill for a "haunted House" party. Whoever will stay in the house for one night will earn ten thousand dollars each. As the night progresses, all the guests are trapped inside the house with ghosts, murderers, and other terrors. |

It never really scared me, probably because I jumped right into slashers and newer paranormal films when I was 4/5. |

It was alright I would say. It's been so long since I've seen it though. I'll give it another watch soon, assuming I can find my copy of it. |

My memory of the 1999 version is a little fuzzy, but I do remember that being on the more enjoyable side. |

I have this on DVD. It's quite a good movie, though you can tell that it was made for a cinema environment, from the complete darkness for a few seconds before the scream right at the start, to the skeleton coming 'through' the screen. Can watch this again and again. |

It's pretty dated, but I enjoyed it. Vincent Price is awesome anyway. Glad I finally watched it, I needed to see it because I quite like the 1999 remake. |

Classic. Vincent Price is always amazing. And the creepy ghost woman with the jacked up face ways gives me chills every time I watch it. At my local movie theater, they would play two b movies every Tuesday. And seeing this on the big screen was a great experience. |

They've stopped doing it since they got bought out by a different owner. :/ I used to go and kick ass at the trivia questions before they'd play the movies and you win prizes. I won posters for The Amazing Transparent Man and The Phantom from 10000 Leagues.

One of the better films of the 1950's, though feels unfinished. |
