Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Yup. ;)

Just finished watching the 82 minute version. Hopefully I can find someone around here to watch it with me so I can watch either the 79 minute version or 85 minute version. I'll save the last of the three versions for Thanksgiving.

I forgot just how bloody a lot of the kills were. Sure, there's three or four offscreen kills but the aftermaths are all pretty nasty and the onscreen kills are a lot more satisfying than a lot of the kills in slashers with 15+ onscreen kills. So it's all good.

You made sure you got the three disc edition and not the two disc one, right? I'm assuming there's a two disc. If not, just ignore me. (lol)

So... I really wanted to like this, mainly due to the concept, which is an interesting and original flip on the stereotypical slasher set up (the one breaking out of the asylum is the hero while the teen hanging out with his friends is the serial killer). Unfortunately.... literally everything else about this is a disaster. Minus the twins (who weren't good, but were vaguely interesting in comparison), the characters were either fairly bland or unbearably idiotic and annoying (the worst by far being the absolutely loathesome mother, though the killer's girlfriend was an annoying idiot as well) and the plot itself depended on idiocy. The kills were gory... but none of them ever reached wow-levels. Not to mention a lot of them were extremely incompetent (like a woman who got cut in half staring at her torso and screaming instead of.... being, ya know, dead) The acting is also bad, but that's at least more forgivable for a cheap 80s slasher unless they're given big acting moments. The mom is the only one I really minded, since she kept trying to chew up the scenery in extremely incompetent ways (her ending acting is downright PAINFUL)

The concept had tons of potential, but the follow through sucked. And you could tell the creators actually had high hopes for it as well. But yeah, I really didn't like this

Puppy, just because there's no evidence she killed her aunt doesn't make her dating material.

^ (un) !

Watched the 85 minute version. There's a dialogue scene at a pool early on that I don't remember seeing in the 82 minute version (which was previously the only version I'd seen). (wary) Some other things almost seemed like they were shuffled around and slightly different from the 82 minute version. I definitely see this as being the best version. I'll probably watch the 79 minute cut soon but I'm expecting that to be my least favorite.

It's ok, but could've been better imo.
