A reluctant bride to be is stalked by a serial killer who only kills brides and the people around them. While her friends get whacked one by one, a hard boiled renegade cop whose bride had been killed years before tries to hunt him down before it is too late. Meanwhile, the bride has to figure out if it is all in her imagination or not, aided by her ex-boyfriend...

I honestly didn't like this that much. Its not really the fact that its a blatant Halloween rip-off, its more so the fact that it doesn't even follow its own story. Its a case of a good story, with a bad execution :/

I thought it was a pretty decent movie. From memory, my favorite part was the opening though, I think. It definitely could've used 3 or 4 more kills.

Oh I'm totally betting Scream 2 did, though Scream 2's was a wee bit better. :P

The first time I watched this I thought it was just okay and I actually was more focused on what that awesome movie was that was playing in theater and then I found out it was a movie they made just for that part. Then I watched it again and really liked it better the second time.

Ive seen it twice, and just don't care for it :( It really should have been better than it was. If I recall, this one doesn't even have much of a fan following like most early 80s slashers have, does it?

Nah, I don't think it does J. I honestly don't mind the slow pace and small bodycount TOO much but it does kind of clash with most other 80s slashers that had double digit bodycounts. This would probably be more widely appreciated if it'd been released in the mid-70s or something, but I doubt it'd be seen as a HUGE classic even then.

The poster seems okay and the plots decent, but not one I've seen.

This was another one I kept hearing about for years but never saw until recently. It was a let down. The opening minutes/theater stuff was fun, but it just went very bland afterwards.

Good horror/slasher film that's one of the most overlooked.

I just finished this and really enjoyed it. I thought it was one of the better 80's slashers that I've seen. Another kill or two would have been great but overall I thought the atmosphere was great, the characters were well-developed and likable and the story was pretty good. I gave it a 7/10 on IMDB.

Oh, and it's the first movie that's made me shriek in a long time, lol!
