Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Before being able to join Alpha Sigma Rho fraternity and its sister sorority, four pledges must spend the night in Garth Manor, twelve years to the day after the previous resident murdered his entire family. Some, however, say that one member of the Garth family survived, and still resides somewhere in the now-deserted mansion.

Despite Linda Blair, and Peter Barton being in it, I didn't find this that great. It was kind of boring :/

I remember there were rumors of a PG 13 remake of this around the time Prom Night hit theaters. Anywho I might avoid this one.

I couldn't tell you if it was boring or not as I never got to see it. Be interesting to see it if it still available.

I got this last year. I hadn't seen it since I was little. I remember being creeped out by it back then. It's not bad. It drags a bit, but it has suitably creepy and wonderful atmosphere. It's worth checking out just to say you've seen it. It was directed by Tom De Simone, who is the brother of Bob De Simone, who played Billy in Friday F13 5.

Fun fact that I didn't know. :P

I currently just have a VHS of this. I need to get the DVD asap. I might wait for a collector's edition though.

This was painfully bland. I didn't mind the characters and the setting was stunning but it just kept dragging on and on and on. I was pretty bored, even when 'action things' were going on.

(wary) @ you always choosing random people to survive, ha.

Tried finding the DVD and when I searched for it I got results that included a movie called "Hell Of The Living Dead" a movie called "RATS!" and "Night Watch"

The fuck?

The most heroic, likeable, intelligent, and competent character surviving would be random? (eyeroll) I'd say the one we got was actually more random, since she completely lucks into it

As is, this is a meh factory. Linda Blair is whiny and useless as a heroine (hell, I even think she netted a Razzie nom, though I didn't mind her acting that much) The kills are weak. Most of the characters are bland or irritating. I'll give it the aforementioned character and a surprising twist, but that's it

Puppy, just because there's no evidence she killed her aunt doesn't make her dating material.

I keep seeing people complaining about the transfer on the new Scream Factory blu-ray. I haven't watched it yet (I just got it a couple weeks back) but I probably won't be as bothered by it as most people are. I'm never one to focus too much on the quality of transfers of movies that are years older than I am, lol.
