The gruesome tapestry of psychological manifestations of a nineteen year old bulimic runaway stripper-turned prostitute as she descends into a hellish pit of satanic nightmares and hallucinations.

As a huge Lucifer Valentine fan, I can say that this film is awful. Sure, it has some nice filming but it's easily the worst in the trilogy.

Can someone move this to the 2006 section?

Also, it's not awful. It was just a weird experimental horror film. I was too hard on it first.

It's not one that includes actual vomiting, is it, I can't handle that.

I still don't think this is a bad film. It's just the weakest and it has so many editing glitches that it's an eyesore. I do think this handled Angela's character the best though.

Why on earth are these movies so damn expensive?!
You can buy them from the distributor for $20 each or get the *awesome* box set for $45.

"I'm gonna earn my fucking money tonight! (shock) "

Just finished this and honestly, I have a hard time considering it a movie. There is no plot whatsoever, really, and it's just a clusterfuck of bizarre images, bad sound effects, dizzying (and not always in a good way) camera work, and weird music. There's a never ending parade of topless chicks and multiple scenes of people randomly throwing up, if you're into that sort of thing.

It doesn't really spend much time focusing on Angela's downward spiral into insanity (or whatever?). Instead, she's fucked up from the get-go and we just get images thrown at us so it lacks the power that other 'downward spiral' films have.

The lighting and some of the gore effects (that eyeball scene about a quarter of the way in was pretty fucking nuts) were pretty good and Angela's actress seems capable enough but she really wasn't able to show off much talent here since it was all so damn incoherent and pieced together. You could remove any five minute stretch of this film and it's still be pretty much the same movie. And why did they keep making Angela sound like Miss Piggy or something?

It's sad that in order to understand what is up with her, who she is, etc. we have to read descriptions about the film. Yeah, we can gather that she is a prostitute or something...but we never see much of that, we never see the abuse, we never see her shitty childhood, etc. Maybe the sequels go into that (honestly, I'm somewhat interested, lol) but this sure as hell didn't. I did like the scene where she talked about burning down the church and how she wanted to be a ballerina but ended up being a stripper instead.

Some parts really did just feel thrown in for puke fetish purposes (probably the case since Lucifer Valentine has a 'thing' for that) such as the random guy barfing in a container, drinking it (!), then barfing again. WUT?! Projectile vomiting into sawed apart skulls? Lovely? What was Lucifer Valentine trying to do/say with this? Why do people act like this is some sort of awesome art-horror? WAS it supposed to be artsy? Or is the joke on us and it really is just supposed to be a fucked-up-for-the-sake-of-being-fucked-up fetish flick?

And who the fuck was the killer (or killers)?

I do have to give the filmmakers props for making this have a pretty nightmarish feel and Lucifer Valentine, going by this, has potential to make some genuinely fucked up and disturbing things. But again; this wasn't it. (lol)

3,4,5, or something/10 quality, and I wasn't very entertained.

Let me start by saying, the Vomit Gore trilogy is not nearly as deep and artistic as its fanbase makes it out to be. It really is just a weird acid trip of murder, gore, and bulimic teens vomiting up Koolaid for Satan.

With that said, I am incredibly fascinated by Lucifer Valentine himself. He is incredibly well-spoken in his interviews, but the shit he says is absolutely... Absolutely what you'd expect from a guy named Lucifer Valentine, yet he does so in such a way that comes off as incredibly intelligent and intellectual.

Brandy Petrie aka Ameara Lavey was just murdered a couple days ago. This is really sad. I really didn't like this movie and I didn't watch the others but I hate to see this sort of thing happen.

I was very surprised when I suddenly started to see stuff about this series. I was shocked that it was because she had been murdered. A man that was in the car with her was killed, too.

Getting murdered is a pretty messed-up thing to happen to anybody, but it carries a lot of bitter irony for a horror movie actress.

I'm glad that they apparently arrested the killer, and I hope their families are alright.
