![]() A cruise ship succumbs to a terrorist act and capsizes on New Year's eve. A rag-tag group of survivors, spearheaded by a priest and a homeland security agent, must journey through the upside down vessel and attempt an escape. I saw this when it first aired and totally loved it, though its so not as good as the original or Beyond The Poseidon Adventure. I prefer this to the remake that starred Fergie though, haha. |

ALL of them are pretty different from eachother though, even the remakes of the 1972 original. They all stand on their own. 1972 original > Beyond > Poseidon (Theatrical remake)/Poseidon (TV remake) |

My ranking has changed bigtime, ha. Watched this again the other night. Crappy effects toward the end, but other than that this looked GREAT for a mid-2000s TV movie. The pacing was too slow in the first 50 minutes or so, but I love that they spent that time developing characters. I love Mrs. Rosen and Mr Rogo here but DAMN, I missed Manny and Linda! Probably my third favorite of the bunch now.
