Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

A cruise ship succumbs to a terrorist act and capsizes on New Year's eve. A rag-tag group of survivors, spearheaded by a priest and a homeland security agent, must journey through the upside down vessel and attempt an escape.

I saw this when it first aired and totally loved it, though its so not as good as the original or Beyond The Poseidon Adventure. I prefer this to the remake that starred Fergie though, haha.

ALL of them are pretty different from eachother though, even the remakes of the 1972 original. They all stand on their own.

1972 original > Beyond > Poseidon (Theatrical remake)/Poseidon (TV remake)

My ranking has changed bigtime, ha.

Watched this again the other night. Crappy effects toward the end, but other than that this looked GREAT for a mid-2000s TV movie. The pacing was too slow in the first 50 minutes or so, but I love that they spent that time developing characters. I love Mrs. Rosen and Mr Rogo here but DAMN, I missed Manny and Linda! (cry) Probably my third favorite of the bunch now.
