Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Four survivors are killin' zombies and searching for a place to call home. At least they have each other

This is going to sink faster than the Titanic.

Can't you see it? The effects of cinema violence on society?

Agreed. Not watching this show, especially after that trailer.

Oh Christ. Why did I just waste like two minutes watching that? Yeah, this confirms that unless I hear great things about it from diehard Horror fans (its a comedy, I know, but so is Tucker And Dale Vs Evil which was still good) I won't be seeing it.

Wow, this looks terrible. And the poster bothers me, apparently everyone in the main cast are giants, because each of them takes up a quarter of the road. This is a waste of money, all around. Yet I can still picture that people are going to love it.

Yeah, that poster is horrendous. It's even worse than the painfully typical (and misleading) poster for the film.

I'd just like to point out that this trailer is a fucking awful representation of the actual pilot. This has picked random lines and scenes out of context and expected them to still be funny. The episode was flawed, but genuinely funny and deserves a lot more than this. Also worth pointing out that Zombieland was originally planned as a TV series and this show is written by the writers of the film, so even though it doesn't have the original cast, the tone is pretty much still there. Rant over.

Maybe we were all wrong...

I don't think so, this isn't changing my opinion of the matter. The fact that Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenburg (Yes, I do like him now) and Emma Stone are in the film GREATLY helps the movie in my opinion, without them it would be garbage.

So the main four from the first are in this, but played by different actors.

Yeah, skipping this garbage.

I watched it. It wasn't great, but it alsp wasn't nearly as bad as that poster! I don't see it going far. They should have developed new characters instead of recasting. There are some funny moments, but it doesn't come close to the movie.

Agreed with this. I watched the first episode and I think instead of keeping the same characters they should have just come up with different ones, even if they were slightly similar. For most people I'm sure they'll never live up the movie versions :P

The pilot wasn´t the best in the world, but to be honest pilots are never appealing to me, I see them as ads for the network. I´m gonna keep an open mind and when it is released watch the next episode. It could hook me but it might not, I will wait and see.

Even though a pilot got made, I thought it belonged with the Cancelled Films more than the television shows. Here's an article about it.

Not surprised it never got picked up. Every review I read had virtually no kind things to say about it.

I feel like this concept would've been much better off if they chose different characters to focus on instead of the same from the show. Plus the casting choices weren't very good.

Although it's been awhile since I watched the pilot. Happy that Fox never greenlit this as Last Man on Earth and Scream Queens are much better than this dredge.
