Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

A ski vacation turns horrific for a group of medical students, as they find themselves confronted by an unimaginable menace: Nazi zombies.

I think if I could go on any horror movie trip (without the dying bit) it would be this one. They actually look like they were having a lot of fun.

Watching this now. I love how that one girl randomly referenced April Fools Day (1984) lol.

So I really liked this, and I loved how deliciously gory the movie was <3 I liked how unpredictable the death order was, but I would have chosen someone else as the survivor.

^ that's how I felt the first time I saw this but after seeing the second, I'm glad they chose that character as the survivor, lol.

This was just as fun as I remembered it being (the AFD reference with the incorrect year made me cringe though!) and it was bloodier than I remembered it being. Robby and I spent a good portion of the movie drooling over Vegard and he kept bugging me by pointing out stuff like "Zombies don't breathe, zombies don't have heartbeats so their blood shouldn't spurt from wounds like that!" (lol) He enjoyed this though. I feel dumb for not remembering if I have this on DVD or not but if I don't, I will soon. (thumbsup)

This is one of the greater zombie efforts ever. There's just so much to like about this one that it's hard to pick a spot to start with, but what must be mentioned first is the blood and gore. This one has so much that it could rival the all-time greats in the genre, all the while done with hardly any biting of their flesh to do so. The bloodbath that ensues from this one is a combination of defensive tactics against the zombies and their methods of capturing the group, both of which results in an impressive display of carving, butchering and bloodletting that leaves this film drenched in splatter. From a body drawn and quartered to hatchet decapitations, stabbings or simple slicings done to every part of the body, chainsaw dismembering and much, much more, as a splatter fest this truly delivers. That leaves this with a lot of action that's utterly enjoyable and keeps it moving along at a frantic pace so as not to be completely dull, the comedy is interjected at the right moments to add brevity to the situation and off course the over-the-top nature of the film is entirely engrossing, which when added with the wintery setting and fine suspense, provides this with plenty of great points. The one minor flaw here is that the zombies don't behave like typical zombies and instead tend to run around, wield tools and have a slasher-villain sense of the dramatics rather than like mindless hordes, but it's a completely forgivable offense that doesn't interrupt the good will established within.
Do illiterate people get the full effect of alphabet soup?

Some people are like slinkies: not good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when one falls down the stairs.

This movie is an absolute blast. I can't think of anything bad to say about it.

And neither should you.

The concept is amazing, but this was kinda meh. Not terrible, and it didn't do anything to offend (well... The survivor was kind of unlikeable, though (s)he was surprising), but I don't think it actually made me laugh once. And the characters are kinda just there. Nice gore, though

Puppy, just because there's no evidence she killed her aunt doesn't make her dating material.
