Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

I actually saw this for the first time just a couple of nights ago. I love that

Pretty rare. The kills, while not as graphic as I hoped they'd be, were well shot, the cut-aways were very effective, the aftermaths were gruesome, and the deaths themselves were satisfying. I just wish the bodycount had been 1 or 2 kills bigger, at least. The characters were decent enough I suppose. It was pretty refreshing seeing a lesbian spotlighted for a bit during a 1981 slasher, haha. While there wasn't a gory meanstreak or anything, the pacing was well done enough to keep me from ever being bored. The fake outs, especially in the

were excellent. Overall I'd give this around a 7.5/10. it was pretty good, but not GREAT.

Me too. The reveal of who the killer was, was a little obvious though, but I still enjoyed this a lot.

As a whodunit, it fails but I really enjoy this slasher as well. The city of Boston really feels like a character itself and I LOVE Carol the waitress.

Sadly, I've only been able to find the trailer and clips on Youtube. If someone posts the movie I'll let you know.

I have a feeling someone did redistribute this, but I don't know if that's my mind playing tricks on me or it happened. This would be so cool to see on DVD, not a bootleg.

Badass. Are there any bonus features with it (besides getting the COTC treatment which only had the theatrical trailers for features)?

I guess I'm in the minority. I saw it a couple of months ago. I know I saw it as a kid, but it was only once and I didn't remember anything. There were some good moments, but I found it kinda boring. Nice Boston setting, though. I don't think it was anything that would warrant me re-watching it much.

This movie isn't too bad. Maybe I saw far too many slashers before I saw this, but I found this movie incredibly predictable.

Well I'd seen a few hundred before I saw this one and still liked it a lot (lol)

And this is yet another one with a randomly overpriced DVD.
