Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

I hope it's worth it and has some bonus features that are of interest, like a commentary maybe.

I doubt it has more than a trailer, sadly. I might wait to get it/ask for it for a few more months just in case it gets re-released.

Hopefully. :P The movie itself was good enough to have even without the features but I don't feel like throwing down $15+ for a barebones DVD.

The killer is easy to figure out, and the douche professor's final actions are really confusing, but I really liked this overall

Puppy, just because there's no evidence she killed her aunt doesn't make her dating material.

I dug this one. I saw the opening scene when I was like 10, but it scared me too badly and I quickly turned the channel. I finally checked it out several years later, once I'd actually gotten more into horror films, and found I liked it quite a bit. Watched it again two or three years ago and it still holds up well. Not from a story standpoint -- as has been pointed out, it's pretty easy to figure out who the killer is -- but it has style to burn, stars the stunning Rachel Ward (I don't often recommend movies based on the star's beauty, but I do this one) and has some effective and suspenseful stalk-and-slash bits. I've heard fans frequently refer to this as a slasher flick; personally, I liken it more to an American-style giallo. But that's just me.

I forgot to say, but I also loved the kitchen scene when you're waiting for them to find the head
