I don't feel like rereading this thread to ask this but...

Is it on Netflix? (cyclops)
Sadly no :( I tried looking on Youtube as well but haven't seen it yet. If I find it somewhere I'll let you know.

Ah yikes. Oh well, I could always check RedBox or blind buy if I can find it for $5 or less or so. :P

While this didn't live up to the hype (I know quite a few people who list this as one of their favorites of the decade so far), it was still really enjoyable. This needed a bodycount boost though but it still had a fair amount of kills. If not for the language and ONE of the more gruesome deaths, it probably could've skated by with a PG13 though. There's not much gore, there's no nudity (which is unfortunate since two of the guys were REALLY hot) - but there's one or two bloody deaths (that only last a few seconds each) and a fuckton of foul language so I guess that explains the R Rating. Well...and the weed. There's more weed in this movie than 'bad words', boobs, and blood combined. (lol)

The characters were some of the most obnoxious, hateable younger characters I've seen in ages - for the first half of the movie, that is. Eventually I grew to like them all though. I was surprised that several of them ended up dying (not nearly enough though) since at one point this really seemed like it'd be 'one of those movies' that allows almost all of the characters to survive. There were four or five characters (most of the girls) who really SHOULD have been killed though. As much as I liked a couple of them, especially the oldest, they really didn't serve much of a purpose. My five favorite characters would have to be Samantha, Pest (<333), Brewis (the Treadaway brothers are TOO fine), Ron, and Tia.

The alien monsters were kind of...cute in a weird way and almost looked like the Langolier monsters or something. But they were also intimidating and I'd probably freak the fuck out if I came across one. This was never boring, some parts were totally hilarious, and they did a good job of making me feel sort of bad for even the more unlikeable characters. I liked it but it wasn't as great as some have said it is.

6/10 quality, 7.5/10 entertainment.

I really liked this movie. At first I didn't, but after about the 25 minute mark you start to get some character development with the kids. This isn't so much horror as it is sci-fi which worked quite well here. I loved each development in the story as well. Really great social commentary. Nice pacing too.

Solid 8/10

This was such an amazing movie. Had to turn on subtitles the first time I watched it because of the South London accents, but that didn't damper my enjoyment one bit.

Oh, and John Boyega, the guy who plays Moses? He went on to star as Finn in The Force Awakens.

Watched this again a couple of nights ago with a friend of mine, and yep, it's still amazing. The rewatch really made me notice how stylish this movie was, between the special effects, the grimy setting, and the soundtrack. And the character development lent it a lot of credibility, and quite a bit of depth as well.

My full review is here.

I found it really disappointing , I Just could not get into.

This movie start of, when some teens, who are thugs mug a lady, only for alien to come crashing down on a car next to her,

Aliens were not scary but i liked how they made there eyes their teeth as well. The only thing that I liked

There were some bloody moment, nothing too gory.

I did not find this funny, was it meant to be a Horror/comedy ? I did not laugh once.

I hated the ending, i just found whole movie, really bland
